- Melt 6 oz. of “Melt-n-Pour” Soap base using a microwave.
- Pour approximately ½ oz. of melted soap base into a 6 oz. soap mold.
- Let the poured soap layer cool and when film appears on top, lightly spritz the top with alcohol.
- Pour another ½ oz. of melted soap base into your mold. Add any small embellishment like a plastic rose or any other shpaed flower, a sea shell or a small toy.
- Let the second soap layer cool and when film appears on top, lightly spritz the top with alcohol.
- Pour a third layer of soap base until it almost covers the embellishment. Let the layer cool and when film appears on top, lightly spritz the top with alcohol.
- If the remaining soap base has hardened, reheat in microwave to melt.
- Stir-in 1 to 2 drops of soap-safe color dye in the melted soap base.
- Stir-in cosmetic-grade glitter (if desired) in the melted soap base.
- Stir-in 1/8 oz. of Abbey & Sullivan fragrance oil in the melted soap base.
- Pour the remaining colored, glittered and scented soap base into the mold.
- Let the soap cure for one to four hours or more. Enjoy your hand-made soap experience.
* Note: Due to varying compositions of fragrances, waxes, soaps, and color dyes, we highly recommend that you test a small batch and make adjustments for compatibility, scent-throw, color and other desired results.
